Etched Glass Monument to the Lost Vessel “Pelican”

Project Description:

Lucid Glass Studio was commissioned to engineer, manufacture and install a large glass memorial to the 64 lost lives aboard the fishing vessel Pelican on Labor Day in 1951. The 8′ x 7′ glass wall was etched with a silhouette of the Pelican and the 64 names of those onboard that fateful day.
