Restoration Project – Bank Newport

Project Description:

Bank Newport embarked on an extensive renovation of their 90 year old main branch building including restoration and modernization of the interior of the bank. Lucid Glass Studio’s special projects division assisted with all glazing work associated with this project.

The project included glass restoration/renovation to the following areas; ceiling laylight, bronze framed entrances and vestibule, teller doors and gates, new dividers, and exterior glazing. Click this link to view a video presentation of the entire renovation project: Bank Newport Renovation

• Vestibule/Entrances – welded bronze/clear laminated glass

• Exterior Windows – chicken wire glass reclaimed from TimeLife Bldg NYC
• Misc. Glazing – glue chip glass, clear tempered glass
