Slim Kiln Cast Glass Breakfast Bar

Project Description:

This homeowner has a brand new condominium in downtown Boston with a brand new hand crafted glass breakfast bar. She had one in her previous home fabricated by Lucid Glass Studio and could not live without it!

Client Testimonial:

“This is the second time I have worked with Lucid Glass Studio on a decorative glass project, and I didn’t consider hiring anyone else. Clint Hopkins was a pleasure to work with! He was collaborative, listened well, and taking into account my wishes, made excellent suggestions about how the final product could be workable.

The design for the glass countertop included two specially-dyed anodized aluminum support legs made by a craftsman in Pennsylvania. Clint was willing to work with the artist and was meticulous about measuring for the height of the legs, as the floor was uneven. On site for installation, he was equally conscientious about the aesthetics and practicalities of attaching the legs to the counter.

The glass counter itself is every bit as stunning as I expected, with a beautiful texture that reflects the light beautifully. I am extremely happy with it, and wish I had space for another glass piece crafted by Lucid Glass.” – N.Truppin
