Thick Glass Bar Top – View Boston

Project Description:

The Prudential Center in Boston just completed a three year renovation of the top four floors of this office tower. The grand opening of “View Boston” was June 15, 2023. Perkins+Will designed the Stratus bar/lounge with a feel of being in the clouds. Including a 32 foot U-shaped thick glass bar top is the perfect centerpiece of this open space. After a hands on consulting session in our studio, P+W specified LGS’s hand crafted, kiln formed glass for the Stratus bar top.

Products Used:

• 1-1/2” Thick Fused Low Iron Glass with Lucid’s “Coral” Textured bottom surface.
